The Ashanti regional organizer of the opposition New Patriotic Party, NPP has congratulated DCOP Kofi Boakye and the Ashanti regional police command for so far arresting six people suspected to have engineered the killing of a member of his party, Abubakar Sadia who was murdered last week in Kumasi.
The regional organizer, Stephen Amoah also expressed his condolences to the family of Abubarkar Sadia who passed away at Asawase last Friday following violent clashes at the party’s regional office.
Mr. Stephen Amoah who made these comments to Rite News charged the police not to rest their oars with the arrests they have made but expand their investigative lenses until justice is fully served in order for it to serve as a stern deterrence to other would be breakers of the law.
He added that investigations into this particular incident won’t be like previous incidents since in this instance the party was fully cooperating with the police.
