The founder and flag bearer of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP) Akua Donkor, has sphere head the 2016 campaign trail, currently touring the Upper East Region precisely Bolegatanga still with her 2012 campaign message “Free Education” which she claims the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flag bearer stole from her.
She revealed to Rite FM’s News that, she is using this opportunity to present her candidate for the Telensi by-election in the Upper East slated for 7th July, 2015 in replacement of Robert Nachinab Doameng Mosore who has currently been enskinned as a chief in the Tongo Traditional Area.
The Talensi seat which seems to be for the NPP pose no threat to the lady flag bearer and her GFP party which seem not very popular in the Ghanaian political arena. Akua Donkor is optimistic to defeat the two giant parties NPP and NDC in the by-election.
Madam Akua Donkor stated hopefully that, when she is being elected as the president for this nation, her target will be for Agriculture especially women and the youth in Agriculture.
She emphasized that, there is no way GFP will join other party and she will no way give in her party to other people or person to take over the flag bearership.
