Ghanaian politics has taken a new trend with young men and women springing up from different political parties in the country.

Last Saturday day’s parliamentary primaries of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) saw the election of a 22 year old Francisca Oteng as a member of parliament for Kwabre East constituency in the Ashanti region and now the latest on the bill is Nana Oboadie Opambour Bonsu Boateng another young man emerging from the People’s National Convention (PNC) aspiring for the presidential contest.

In an exclusive interview with Rite News, Nana Opambour Bonsu who is also the Youth Organizer of Ghana National Association of Farmers and fishermen (GNAFF) has said Ghana is sinking and needs new ideas from the youth to revamp the country back on track, because the so-called political leaders have failed the country.

He stated that, he feels sad when he hears people calling parliamentarians HONORABLE because these parliamentarians do not know the job, what they do is to acquire wealth and fame, noting that, he is bringing evolutionary change in Ghanaian politics.

He noted that, his message is to change the lives of the people through what he calls “new political thinking” because they have been deceived for a long time by some politicians.
