Oti warns teammates against complacency

Richard Oti has warned his Kotoko teammates not to underestimate tomorrow’s First Capital Plus league opponent Accra Great Olympics.

David Duncan’s men host their old foes at the Accra Spotrs Stadium tomorrow afternoon after losing the second week of the second round of the First Capital Plus League home to New Edubiase last Friday.

Kotoko will be keen to get back on winning ways to boost their standings on the league table, and to rekindle the hopes of their teeming supporters for the title.

“Great Olympics is a good side” admitted the midfielder. “The fact we drew against them in the first round depicts that they are a strong side.

“It hasn’t been long since we last beat them, so there is a temptation for us to be complacent. We have to be absolutely focused and avoid that temptation, take them as the good side that they are and approach the game with all seriousness”.
