Kotoko were wrong to sack me – Didi Dramani

Mas-Ud Dramani believes officials at Asante Kotoko were wrong to dismiss him following a chain of poor results.

The former national team trainer was replaced with David Duncan following a string of unimpressive results.

Kotoko were again exited early from the CAF Champions League and Dramani who led the side to back-to-back titles was ultimately handed the blame as Duncan only took over for the return encounter against El Eulma.

But results have not improved significantly since his departure.

After a strong start to his reign as coach of Kotoko, David Duncan is increasingly coming under pressure with the side’s poor form at the start of the second half of the season.

Dramani now says officials failed to identify the real problem facing the side with their decision to sack him. That is not my concern now [about Kotoko’s struggles], my concern was that if really I was the problem then it was better for me to leave.”
