Hearts Supporters Grab Coach Grant’s Work In Progress Comment

Hearts of Oak supporters PRO, Paa Kofi Sunsum  holds on, their rejuvenated club is work in progress following the club’s performance in the ongoing FA Normalization Committee Special Competition.

Coach Kim Grant first made the ‘work in progress’ comment praising his team after a 2-0 performance against Inter Allies at the Tema Stadium.

The Rainbow club is said to have started a rebuilding project, which Paa Kofi noted is at the window level.

“The club has started rebuilding a new team, the project is at the window level. We, the supporters believe that before the team get to roofing stage the history and wonders about the club will be back strongly,” the supporters group Public Relation Officer has said.

Hearts of Oak, first to qualify for the semi-final, topped zone B of the Normalization Committee Special Competition with 28 points.

The club is set to face its arch rivals, Kumansi Ashanti Kotoko come June 16, 2019 at the 40, 000 capacity Accra Sports stadium while Asgold hosts Zone B runner-up, Karela United at Obuasi Len Clay stadium.

The winners  in the semi- final matches will lock horns in the grand finale for a slot in the 2019/2020 CAF Champions League.

Paa Kofi Sunsum is however, calling for faire officiating, and shading off of political influence since his side would not accept such act.

The Phobians were able to beat Inter Allies home and away in a space of four days, 4-0 to WAFA at the Accra Sports Stadium and a 1-0 defeat to the competition’s close contender, Karela United.
