Hearts remains unbeaten after week four

Glorious Accra Hearts of Oak finished match day four in the ongoing 2015/2016 Ghana Premier League with a 3-1 win against Bechem United at the Accra Sports Stadium yesterday.

The win catapults the rainbow team to the top of the league table after going four matches unbeaten.

Samuel Yeboah scored the opener for the Phobians in the 35th minute of the game after he received a cross from Isaac Mensah.

Hearts continued to put pressure on the defence of Bechem United and got the second goal of the game through Mustapha Essuman.

Skilful midfielder Isaac Mensah scored his first goal of the season for the Phobians in the 63rd minute, making it 3-0 for the local giants. Bechem United got a consolation through John Nyamekye.

Captain Robin Gnagne was adjudged player of the month in February for Accra Hearts of Oak.

Elsewhere at the Berekum Golden City Park, Berekum Chelsea defeated Kumasi Asante Kotoko by 2-0. Former national U-20 star Saddick Adams scored a brace to secure three maximum points for Chelsea.

Kotoko are seriously under pressure after losing two games in four matches. The Porcupine Warriors lie at the bottom with two points.

At the Karl Reindolf Sports Stadium, Liberty Professional defeated Techiman City by a lone goal through Latif Blessing.

Defending champions AshantiGold held Sekondi Hasaacas to a stalemate at the Essipong Sports Stadium. Eric Bekoe converted a spot kick for Hasaacas’ first goal, with the equaliser from Kadri Mohammad of AshantiGold.
