The founder and General Overseer of the Christ Adventist Church (CAC), Apostle Addo Agyekum has launched a scathing attack on men of God against the use of anointing oil.
According to him, such self-styled pastors are “unintelligent and needs to go back to the bible school for further training”.
Apostle Addo Agyekum’s comment comes after the General Superintended of the Assemblies of God; Rev Dr. Paul Yaw Frimpong-Manso condemned the sale of anointing oil by some pastors.
In his view, the supposed Men of God into such acts are fake prophets who are only milking their congregants of money.
In support, Apostle Addo Agyekum on Adom News condemned the sale in no uncertain terms.
He believes such self-styled men of God are wolf cubs in sheep skins in the vineyard of the work of God.
Christ Adventist Church maintained that the use of anointing oil is biblical because it is used to ordain men of God to usher them into the priesthood as well as for deliverance and healing purposes.
Apostle Agyekum, who is also the CEO of Teteatenpon Prayer Center, said though he has a variety of oil, he does not sell them in his church.
“I have set up a company to do oil business, but I don’t sell them in my church because it is not biblical,” he stated.
The Man of God bemoaned the practice where some pastors are capitalizing on this to dupe members of the unsuspecting public by selling the oil at exorbitant fees to them.
Insisting that the use of anointing oil is not evil, Apostle Addo Agyekum urged Christians to guard against pastors who only sell anointing oil rather than preaching the gospel.
