ASANTE KOTOKO ARRIVE HOME SAFELY IN GHANA, AFTER CAF CONFEDERATION CUP EXIT

Kumasi Asante Kotoko, have arrived home in Ghana safely, after their CAF Confederation Cup exit. Having lost their final group game against Zesco United on Sunday.


The porcupine warriors needed a win to qualify to the quarter-finals stage of the competition. Kotoko surrendered a 1-0 lead in the opening minutes of the second half to lose the game by 2-1.

The team arrived at the Kotoka International Airport at noon, and will continue their journey to Kumasi to start preparations for the upcoming Normalisation Committee special competition.

Asante kotoko was Ghana’s sole representative in the competition this season, but was eliminated in Group C with Al Hilal of Sudan, Nkana Fc of Zambia, and Zesco United of Zambia, with Asante Kotoko sitting third in the group with 7points .
