YKMA To Sponsor RAF – Honourable Soda

Municipal Chief Executive of the Yilo Krobo Muncipal Assembly, honourable Andrews Soda has given Rite FM a big shot in the arm in the organization of its future agric-forums. This was after he promised a whopping 95% support for the organization of the next Rite Agri-Forum, RAF.

The MCE who was launching the RAF in Somanya on Wednesday was full of praises for the station, promising to fund 95% of the total cost of organizing the next forum. According to the MCE, ‘Rite FM has opened the gate and come next year, the Yilo Krobo Municipal Assembly in collaboration with the Municipal Directorate of Agric will bear about 95% of the total cost,’ he emphasized.

Honourable Soda called for and demanded that future events be organized at a bigger space so that a lot more people can partake in and learn from it.

The assembly chief who could not hide his admiration for the event and its organizers, showered praises on Rite FM for being the first radio station to organize an Agri forum which he observed was the first of its kind. He noted that the forum, though the brain child of Rite FM fell within the obligations of the assembly.

He further stated that he will not call Rite FM the station for agriculture but ‘the station that cuts across.’

The honourable Andrews Soda was also convinced that the program would help farmers to acquire new and relevant knowledge about how to engage in good and proper farming. This he noted will help improve the Agric sector tremendously.

He therefore thanked Rite FM for always enlightening the farmers about the best way to farm to boost the Agric sector.

To him, Rite FM has led the way, citing when it took up the fight to the educational sector when teacher absenteeism was very high. According to him, ‘Rite FM led the way and they were able to change a lot of things.’
