The Member of Parliament for Yilo Krobo Municipality of the Eastern Region, Hon.Lawyer Magnus Kofi Amoatey, today visited some victims affected by a heavy rainstorm in the constituency last Saturday.
The affected areas included Plau,Okperpiem and Borkormanya with 30 houses so far been affected.
he heavy down pour destroyed properties running to several thousands of cedis.
The MP mentioned that he sympathised with them and promised to assist them put things back to normal and to ease up the pressure the victims are currently going through.
“I am worried about the destructions and i thought it wise to pay them visit and familiarise with them to know the extent of damage as the MP and see what can be done to assist victims” he stated added.
Lawyer Amoatey therefore pledged to find ways to help the victims but however appealed to NADMO and other coperate bodies to come on board.
