The Municipal Chief Executive of Yilo Krobo, Hon Ebenezer Tetteh Kupalor has cut sod for the construction of boys and girls dormitory and housemaster’s and housemistress apartment in Klo-Agogo Senior High School for the commencement of work to begin.
The project [six] which are due to be undertaken in the school includes, a 12 unit story classroom block, boys dormitory, girls dormitory, housemaster’s apartment, housemistress apartment and 12 seater bio-gas toilet is funded from the Kuwait government through the president of Ghana in order to improve infrastructural projects in the municipality.
According to him, the project is coming from the presidency, His Excellency Akuffo Addo who desires Krobo-land development and when the intervention came he decided to give out some of the funds to Yilo Krobo, Klo-Agogo Senior High School.
The money came in two forms which the 12 unit classroom block is going for special intervention to support the double-track system, the boys and girls dormitories, housemasters and housemistress bungalows project is a funding from Kuwait government to help Klo-Agogo Senior High School. He added.
Moreover, he said, there are more projects underway to expand the school and so he plead with the chief and people of Klo-Agogo to help provide additional land in order to expand the school by building more classroom and having adequate environment for the school.
I have awarded a contract to a contractor to rehabilitate the Agogo market and also the road from Sikabeng to Ahenkwa to be renovated. He added.
The Assistant Headmaster of the school in charge of Academics, Mr. Emmanuel Bedzo thanked the MCE for the good work done to improve infrastructural demands in the school and therefore urged him to bring in more projects to the school it to be one of the best school in the municipal and Ghana as a whole.
The chief of Klo-Agogo, Nene Odjeyemi I also thanked the MCE for the wonderful project he has brought to the school and he hoped these projects will make the school to be one of the best in the municipal and will developed Klo-Agogo township and also urged the people of Klo-Agogo to help the school developed in the district.
