The Eastern Regional grassroots communicators of the New Patriotic Party, NPP are in a state of sorrow for the inability of their Members of Parliament across the Region to offer jobs to the party supporters.
This according to the communicators is affecting party work at the grassroots.
Organizer for the communicators’, Abenbebom has disclosed this to Rite FM saying “the grassroots has tried on many occasions to be employed but anytime they go not even a single person to endorse the forms especially in cases of car loans to the grassroots.”
He has however claimed the grassroots party supporters are wise now and also send a clear signal to many of the MP’s who had neglected the grassroots.
“You can give me a 5 kilo of rice and ghc 50 as well but will vote against you because no amount of money can buy me,” Abenbebom fumed.
Abenbebom advised the grassroots and delegates to change all those type of leaders who are serving in their own interest and also reject all those who go there only for their families and friends to the detriment of the party.
” Let not entertain any form of begging, many of those had become tricksters, let be careful,” he said
“We have to take their monies and enjoy it but vote them out to serve as a lesson for others who are coming on board or not even campaign for them during their primaries.”
