Ace news anchor, Krobea Asante Tofepa – Ntomentwene at rite FM in Somanya in the Eastern region has reiterated emphatically that, they are not a pint surprised to have four nominations to contest the March 26th 2016 slated Presenters awards engineered by Forklex.
Forklex released its nominees for the Eastern region barely a month ago, and various categories for the year including morning show host, news casters, sports show host, drive time host, entertainment show host and social program of the year were respectively selected.
However, Rite 90.1 FM unprecedentedly swept four from the five categories with Krobea Asante nominated for best news caster in the region, Dr. Dr. Kenneth Oliver for sports, Owuraku Asamoah for best morning show host and Ofosuhene’s ( Mr.Skills ) Hitz Factory for best entertainment show.
In an exclusive interview with host of the drive time show, Papa Attitude, Krobea Asante revealed that every work done under the sun will be judged whether good or bad and that, the populace who are discerning like the organizers will not hesitate to adjudge all four nominations.
“We cannot fail for our Agric and Social Development stories; after all, rite FM can boldly claim fame for being the only radio station in the country that primarily focuses on how to have a sustainable agriculture in the country, tell me who fought to retrieve the tricycle which was ceased from the Ashanti regional best farmer and who informs and educate farmers on modern methods of farming” He added.
Krobea added that, “awards are meant for people who are making impact in society, and our cherished listeners, especially farmers, students and market women in the country will question why if all four categories nominated at Rite FM are not crowned.
In a development, programs manager and host of morning ride, Owuraku Asamoah has expressed his utmost happiness with hopes for success, stating that Forklex and Ghanaians will massively throw their weight behind all categories, hence advocated for people to text PA Krobea Asante, PA Owuraku Asamoah, PA Dr. Kenneth Oliver and PA Hitz factory all to short code 1446 to help rite FM win all nominations.
“Let’s get to the bridge and we shall know how to cross it, we have not been surprised at all and on the fateful day at Golden Tulip in Kumasi, the world would know we have been promoted by both men and God who knows we deserve it” Krobea concluded confidently.
