USAID Invests In Ghana’s Agricultural Sector

The United States Agency for International Development, USAID has since 2012 been providing $ 150 million annually to support health, economic growth and improvement in road infrastructure.

The agricultural sector is considered a priority area for USAID, attracting $ 50 million yearly under the flagship project “Feed the Future”.

The Acting Mission Director of the Agency, Andy Karas made this known when he and some officials paid a visit to Wa in the Upper West Region to assess the condition of a multi dollar soya milk processing center handed over a year ago by the USAID to a private entrepreneur in the region.
