CHELSEA goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has reportedly told Maurizio Sarri he wants to leave the club to join Real Madrid.
The 26-year-old’s agent recently begged the Blues to let the Belgian international leave Stamford Bridge to complete his dream move to Los Blancos.
According to ESPN, sources close to the club have revealed that Courtois has spoken to the ex-Napoli manager about a transfer away.
The two-time Premier League winner has just one year left on his deal, and is understood to want to move back to Spain to be closer with his children.
Sarri opened the door for the ex-Atletico Madrid ace to depart West London after Chelsea lost 2-0 to Manchester City in the Community Shield.
He said: “I have no reaction on the agent. I’m not interested in the agent. I want to hear Courtois.
“If Courtois says the same, I have to speak with my club of course because I only want players with a very high level of motivation — but I have nothing to respond to the agent.”
