The aspiring assembly member of Nketepa Electoral area in the Kwahu South District, Hon. Asante Nkrumah has said, the unlawful act of some Fulani herdsmen in the country cannot be stopped because most politicians and traditional leaders have engaged in the cattle rearing business.
According to him, as far as some business men including the traditional leaders have invested in the cattle rearing, these Fulani herdsmen will continue to misbehave and portray such unlawful act.
Hon. Asante speaking to Rite News noted that, most of the cattle belong to the chiefs, politician and businessmen but not the Fulani’s, hence these politicians and others should be blamed for such acts.
He cited that, though there has been an intervention form the Eastern Regional Coordinating Council and the Military to stop that unlawful act and bring peace to the region, but the unlawful act of these Fulani’s are still going on at Asante Akyem Agogo
