The National Democratic Congress [NDC] Ashanti Regional Secretary Mr Kwame Zu believes corruption can never be dealt with under the Nana Addo-led administration because he is the embodiment and the emblem of corruption.
He was emphatic that the President has done little to fight the canker after winning the presidency after numerous cases of corruption under his administration and later been cleared.
Speaking on Rite morning Ride, said corruption has escalated since the reign of President Akufo-Addo.
“There is nothing he can do about corruption, all his people are untouchable, it’s a game plan he sow himself,” he told Austin Ofori Addo
He said Ghanaians were deceived into thinking that Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo winning the 2016 presidential elections will make everything better in the nation, but the case today is different.
Adding that transparency and accountability, the tools needed in the fight against corruption are missing in the Akufo-Addo administration.
Mr Kwame Zu expressed doubts about Nana Addo’s seriousness to eliminate corruption as he believes successive governments have not demonstrated enough commitment to root out the canker.
