The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo commenced his 3-days working tour of the Eastern Region, with visits to Nkawkaw, Atiwa and Begoro on Saturday.
He inspected works on the 5 km bituminous surfacing of the Akwasiho-Twenedurase road, construction of the 10 km, Nkawkaw town roads and 41.4km Kwabeng-Abomosu Road being undertaken by First Sky Ltd. He also inspected reconstruction work of a 24.8km Osiem-Begoro town roads.
The president used the opportunity to interact with students of Nkawkaw Senior High School.
Accompanying the president in his 3 days tour are the Minister for Education, Hon Mathew Opoku Prempeh, Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto, Minister for Agric, Hon Amoako Attah Ghana’s Road and Highway Minister, the host Minister, Hon. Kwakye Darfuor Eric and some MMDCEs as well as party supporters.
