Concerned Youth for His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, a grassroot pressure group supporting the ruling NDC in the Central Region has petitioned the president to appoint Miss Hannah Tetteh as the running mate for the forth coming 2016 parliamentary and presidential elections.
According to the Chairman of the pressure group, Mr. George Arthur speaking on Rite FM morning ride said “Concern Youth for His Excellency John Dramani Mahama”, has been in existence for almost 5years with its sole responsibility of helping in the campaigning for the ruling NDC party.
According to the Chairman, the pressure group “Concern youth for His Excellency John Dramani Mahama” has given the president 95% endorsement and therefore calling on him the president to appoint Hon Hannah Tetteh as the running mate.
He however said, endorsement opinion conducted by the group recently in the central region showed that Madam Hannah Teteh would be the best vice to help the president in the administration of the country. “This would be a historic event in the history of Ghana and will make the National Democratic Congress (NDC) party be in power forever” he said.
Speaking Further, he said even though the current running mate for the president, Paa Kwasi Amissah Arthur had helped in the winning of the 2012 presidential election, his performance in relation to the administration of affairs is very poor as he lacks the necessary skills needed in the administration of the country. “These had made the administration of the country very tedious for the president and that if the president doesn’t replace Amissah Arthur, will be a great misfortune and hindrance to the party the quest to win election 2016.
Explaining the qualities of both great personalities, he said, Hon. Hannah Tetteh has a great charisma as compared to the Vice president Amissah Arthur. Apart from that Miss Hannah Tetteh has a constituency and a closed working relationship with the president as compared to Amissah Arthur.
“ We the concern youth for His Excellency John Dramani Mahama in the central region are saying that, we are giving him a replacement which will help in management and the administration of the country”, he said.
