The Minister in charge of the Somanya Church of Christ, Pastor Odiasempa Tufour has advised the youth to prepare adequately before going into marriage because it is lifetime journey. According to him, marriage is more than just having having a huge wedding ceremony but how the couple will understand each other going into the future.
In an interview with Rite news, Minister Tufour explained that couples need to go through marriage counseling in order to equip them with the necessary information about their spouse which is one of the important keys to marriage.
Touching on the issue of fornication, the minister advised marriage couples not to cheat on their partners no matter the situation since this goes against the rules of God.
He stated that divorce was on the increase as a result of premarital sex during courtship which tends to influence couples into giving little attention to marriage since they believe that marriage which to them is the ultimate has already taken place.
He therefore advised them to stay away from premarital sexual relations.
