Pray For Your Husband In Times Of Difficulties – Deaconess Mary Tells Women
The National President of the Women Fellowship of The Life Of Christ Ministry in a sermon, admonished women especially married ones to stand firm behind their husbands with prayers in moments of challenges.
Speaking at the National Women’s Annual Conference of the Church in Nuaso in the Lower Manya Krobo Municipal in the Eastern Region, Deaconess Mary Maku Teye asked women to exercise patience in their marriage since they (women) are the cover to their husbands.
She said, though the most painful moment in marriage is when husband shares their marriage bed with other women, wives should handle such times with care, not to commit sin before their maker.
Referencing from the holy bible, she advised women to emulate the examples of Ruth, Esther and the likes to manage their marital homes.
The conference which was organized under the theme, “fulfilling the requirement of a steward” has brought together women, both young and old to a four day conference to spiritually empower members of the church for God’s work in the year 2020 and beyond.
Addressing over 13 local assemblies across Lower and Upper Manya, and Fanteakwa Districts, the wife of the Senior Pastor, Mrs Gladys Kofi on Friday evening tasked members of the church to allow their marriage life glorify God.
According to her, marriage is an institution of God and must be adored to meet the divine purpose of God.
Apostle H. T. Kofi, the national chairperson of the church was heavily surrounded by his junior pastors and elders in honor of the closing ceremony of the conference on Sunday, 23rd February, 2020.
Rev. Jacob Narteh, the national vice chairperson of the church and minister in charge of the Women Fellowship and the general Secretary, Rev. Simon T. Kwao shall inaugurate the Women Fellowship in later part of Sunday
The Life of Christ Ministry was established in September 2013, to spread the gospel of God to the nations.
It has its headquarters at Nuaso Odjadornya in the Lower Manya Krobo municipal.
