Political Parties Must Conduct Needs Assessment On Ghanaians Before Presenting Their 2020 Manifesto – HR Development Practitioner

Mr. Apatsea Isaac Kwasi, a Human Resource Development Practitioner has urged political parties to conduct a needs assessment on Ghanaian voters before coming out with their 2020 manifesto.

He said the only way a political party can address issues from it roots is to engage the people right at their doorstep. In this way a political party may even spend few times to campaign for votes since the problems of the people are already available and fitted in their manifesto.

He again pleaded with Ghanaians to welcome any political party which will seek idea concerns and input from them in putting together their manifesto for 2020 elections. That if Ghanaians open up and engage political parties this way their issue as to political parties have deceived us will be a thing of the past.

Since a manifesto can be defined as a published declaration of the intentions, motives, or views of the issuer, be it an individual, group, political party or government. The best way for the owner of a manifesto is to put the people first in publishing it.

He reminded Ghanaians not to consider political parties seeking views from people in drafting the 2020 manifesto as alien. It is the best practice just that some political parties took voters for granted and this must be good news.
