Edmond Nana Aboagye, the communication director for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Yilo Krobo constituency has emphasized that the Greater Accra mayor, Alfred Okoh Vanderpuije must return his award.
According to Edmond Aboagye, in an interview with the mayor in a media house about two month ago, revealed that, “Accra is very ready for the rains because everything has been put in place.” Vanderpuije is behaving like a serial caller complaining that he has sent a budget to the financial minister for six years but has not been approved he mourned.
Nana Aboagye stated that, Okoh Vanderpuije has been paid to think and find solutions to our problems not to give empty promises. He noted the rains cannot be stopped but measures can be put in place by authorities to control the possible havoc.
He revealed that, what happened on the 3rd June, 2015 is not the first time in Ghanaian history but it is the worse one ever.
He then stated that, what has happened is very serious therefore Okoh Vanderpuije, the mayor of Greater Accra Region must return his award because those who gave him the award might have made a mistake.
The communication director for the NPP in Yilo Krobo constituency, Edmond Aboagye also revealed that, what happened on June 3rd happened two years back and what the president said, had been said two years ago.
“We have a government who only thinks about the next election and not the next generation.”
