Nananom Of Techiman North Commend Prez, DCE For Peace And Development In District.

Peace and harmony they say is the major driver for development in every community, it is in this direction that Nananom and People of Techiman North in the Bono East region have unanimously commended Hon. Peter Mensah Kuunbeso DCE of the area for his tireless efforts to maintain peaceful coexistence which in return is bringing about a lot investment, employment and development to the district.

At separate meetings with Nananom of “both-sides” of the Chieftaincy divide at Tuobodom to inform and explain the NPP government as well as the Techiman North District Assembly’s projects and programs,

Hon. Peter Mensah also used the opportunity to cut sod for the construction of a Poultry Feed Factory at Tuobodom under the 1 District 1 Factory to improve poultry production in the region as a way of reducing importation of frozen chicken into the country to create job for the youth.

Mr. Sanjay Rajan Director of Operations for Kingdom Exim Ghana Ltd Company from India who are building the Tuobodom 1D1F project both pledged to do a good job for Techiman North to provide employment to the indigenes of the town.

Nana Obeng Ameyaw Barimah II, Chief of Tuobodom on behalf of the traditional council in his speech thanked the DCE for his effort to promoting peace and stability in the area which is translating to the real work on the ground.

Nana Obeng Ameyaw Barimah II lauded Prez Nana Akuffo Addo and his government for all the flagship policies implemented for the betterment of Ghana which include the 1 District 1 Factory, 1 village 1 dam, planting for food and job, planting for export and rural development, rearing for food and job which has impacted positively on the lives of the people of Tuobodom and Ghanaians as a whole.

Further stated that, free senior high school policy is also a good policy seeking to uplift the academic standard of people and has brought relief to parents and advised the youth to desist from all forms of social vices and contribute to the development of Tuobodom.

At Aworowa also in the Techiman North district, Hon. Peter Mensah and officials from the Assembly joined the Education directorate, Nananom and Assembly members to cut sod for the construction of a 6-unit classroom block at Aworowa Methodist JHS.

Nana Yeboah Kokwah Chief of Aworowa who doubles as Techiman Gyaasowaah Hene presented Laptops for 3 best performing B.E.C.E. candidates and also appreciated the free senior high school policy.

Finally, Mr. Baffour Awuah Nantwi director of SUNAT Co. Ltd the contractor building the Aworowa Methodist JHS school block assured a quality work.

Peter Mensah Kuunbeso addressing the Media after the two sod cutting appealed to the people of Techiman North in the Bono East region support them executive the promises made by the president Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo Addo to the district but urged them to say united to achieve the goals and objectives set.
