Mushroom growers in the country have urged the general public to accept and consume their mushroom because it’s purely organic without any chemicals.
In an interview with Mr. Stephen Gyawu, a mushroom farmer at Anum in the Eastern Region on the Rite Morning Ride, he debunked the perception that mushroom farmers use chemicals in their farming activities, stressing that what they use in their farming activities is purely organic.
He said though they belong to an association and work very hard, they are unable to reap high quality yields because the relevant authorities are not attending to them.
