MP for Yilo now a representative for Ghana at the ACP Parliament

Hon. Lawyer Kofi Amoatey the Member of Parliament for Yilo Krobo Constituency who is now the chairman for the Constitutional, Legal and Parliamentary Affairs of the parliament now represent Ghana at the Africa Caribbean in Pacific Parliament (ACP).

In an interview with Hon. Amoatey on the Morning Ride this morning, he stated that the Africa Caribbean in Pacific Parliament (ACP) is a parliament for all Caribbean Africans which he represents Ghana.

Aside this, he being the chairman for the Constitutional, Legal and Parliamentary Affairs, it is his duty to cross check every law that comes into parliament especially from the Attorney General’s (AG) office to pass it onto the committee before it is read in parliament. He revealed.

Concerning him being a representative for Ghana at the Africa Caribbean in Pacific Parliament (ACP), he mentioned their recent meeting was about Justice, Security and Peace for the world and also Social and Environmental issues concerning climate change. “Human activities and Natural sequences are as a result of climate change.” He revealed ‘Our forests have now turn into grass land’. He mourned.

  1. Let him be aware that the citizens wants developmental projects in his constituency and not he grabbing positions . What will that bring to the little JHS pupil who sits under the mango tree to study as class room , not to talk of the commercial driver who changes his car body parts frequently due to Poor roads…….
    # 2016 awaits him.
