The people of Ademenya in the Dangme West District were rendered homeless yesterday after land guards attacked the town and burned their houses and destroy other properties.
When Rite news got to the area where the land guards allegedly took the operation, we realized that the land guards have sacked everybody from the town and pulled down houses, a saloon car that was packed under a tree was burnt in to ashes as well as their farms were graded.
Rite news spoke to some of the victims in the town and they said, Larteh a town in the Akuapem North District claiming that land belongs to them and the chiefs of Ademenya sent the matter to the law court, so they do not understand the reason why the land guards storms the attacked them yesterday, adding that their great grand fathers lived there from 1880s till date.
