54 year old Fulani herdsmen Leader has been shot dead early hours of today at Trado, a suburb at Nkawkaw in the Eastern Region.
Nana Kweku Duah , who is the Nkawkaw Divisional Crime Officer narrating the incident to ritenews said Alhaji Imaro Gagari (Fulani leader) was asleep with his wife in a room early this morning around 4:30 am when a suspected Muslims broke their door and attack them on a gun point.
Unfortunately the suspected Muslims shot Alhaji Imaro without any reason or taking any property belonging to the deceased and just run away.
He noted that these suspected guys purposely killed the Fulani leader without any reason but suspected to be a contract killing of unknown persons.
Nana kweku Duah confirmed that the body was sent to Akonfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi for postmortem and was later sent back to a Muslim community at Nkawkaw for burial service today.
