Farmers Association Urged To Support Farmers, Not Sports Ministry
By Austin Ofori Addo:
Ex- military Warrant Officer, 84-year-old WOI Michael Alemawor who is now a farmer has sharply expressed his disagreements with the President of the Concerned Farmers Association, Nana Opambour Bonsu Boateng for the Association’s intended donation to the Sports Ministry to rehabilitate the Accra sports stadium.
Mr. Alemawor in expressing his disagreement wondered why footballers who earn handsomely and who are arguably some of the richest people in the country have taken a back seat why it’s the poor farmers who have taken up the responsibility to do this.
He was pissed that the Ghanaian farmer is suffering without any help from anywhere, adding that they don’t have to give off their sweat to help the foot ballers.
Mr. Alemawor therefore called on the various farmers associations to come together to help fight the cause of farmers instead.
