By Austin Ofori:

Mr Ben Fiafor, Country Director of Farm Radio International has in an interview with Rite FM reiterated the general cry of farmers regarding this year’s poor rainfall pattern that has resulted in low yields describing the phenomenon as problematic.

He added that the climatic condition affected the farmers and their vision to produce more to meet the demands of the consumers but as an organization, they managed to help those famers through education, adding that they will continue to do their best to help fathers.

Farmer Radio International is a Non Governmental Organization that tasks itself with the noble aim of helping farmers to have adequate access to information on the weather. This includes if the extent to which farmers should expect rainfall for their farming activities as well as to help the farmers to market their available farm produce. That is not all as they also provide much other relevant general agricultural information to the farmers.
Mr. Fiafor finally advised farmers to listen to agricultural programs on Rite FM which are always educative and will help them to improve upon their production in the coming year.
