The Acting President of the Kwahu Traditional Council in the Eastern Region, Nana Akimfo Assiedu Agyeman has charged his people to take up arms to attack the Fulani herdsmen in self defence if they come under attack or feel threatened by their activities.
Nana Akimfo did not end there as he went ahead to charge his people to drive away the Fulani herdsmen from their land with machete and guns if the authorities fail to do something about the situation at hard.
The chief made the call following a spate of allegations of criminal activities such as rape, robbery, destruction farmlands and so much more against the nomads. Aside that, they are also known to be engaged in several other social vices. He even alleged that the Fulani men sometimes talk and instruct their cattle to attack innocent people which is why they must also defend themselves to the death.
