Afoko suspended as NPP Chairman

Credible information available to Starrfmonline.com indicates that the party’s Chairman Paul Afoko has been suspended indefinitely.

According to reports gathered by Starrfmonline.com, the 1st Vice Chairman of the party Freddie Blay has taken over as acting Chairman of the Elephant family.

This follows a petition by Council of Elders to the Disciplinary committee of the party asking Afoko to step aside for working against the interest of the party.

The petition called for Afoko to be suspended until after the 2016 elections.

The decision to suspended Afoko will be announced after a National Executive Committee meeting scheduled to take place today at the party’s headquarters.

Meanwhile, violence has erupted at the headquarters of the party as a group known as the Bolga bulldogs clashed with the party’s security known as invincible forces.

The Bolga Bulldogs who support Afoko attempted to take over the party following reports that the Chairman would be suspended but they were repelled by the party’s security.
