The other contenders, Lawyer Osei Poku  had 202 votes, whiles K. Adjei Sefa  managed 33 votes with Emmanuel Owusu polling a meager  13 votes.

It is unclear what may have accounted for the shocking victory of the young student who may not have garnered experience politically.

Tv3network.com can confirm that Francisca is the daughter of renowned entrepreneur Dr. Oteng Agyei, CEO of Angel Group of companies, whose businesses include a radio and TV station, a school, construction and estate firms, a herbal medicine and cream manufacturing firm amongst others.

She is believed to have been hugely sponsored by her father to win the polls.

Francisca may not be the youngest to enter Ghana’s Parliament should she win the parliamentary elections in 2016.

There are reports Ghana’s youngest MP in the era of Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah was 20 years.
