The chairman of Farm Management Systems Limited, FMSL, Mr. Davis Narh-Kobo has commended all farmers for doing their best to put food on the table of Ghanaians over the past year.
Ghana’s 2009 best farmer said the year had been full of many ups and downs and even politicians were very much aware of these circumstances and situations. He however added that the general public should appreciate farmers because irrespective of the challenges or the difficulties, they were still able to feed the general public.
“I wish everybody would take his or her cell phone and call a farmer just to wish him or her a happy x’mas and pray for them since they have done their best under the circumstance, adding that even though they faced financial and climate difficulties as well as challenges facing the agriculture ministry, he thinks the farmers still stood out.
