Member of the New Patriotic Party’s communications team in Weija is excited with his party’s campaign team, describing it as powerful and experienced.
In an interview with Abdul Raman Barko who is a member of the NPP communication team for the Weija constituency, he told Rite news said it was a proposal from the NPP executive that the flag bearer should name his campaign team before the end of the year so that their campaign will start right after the new year.
According to him, the reason behind this to ensure that the party rightly put all necessary things in order before 2016. This is to ensure that all issues have been resolved before they start a serious campaign heading into the elections.
He parried suggestions that the party’s recent defeat in the Amenfi bye-elections was the sure reason for the naming of the campaign team, rather that it was the right step to take towards the elections.
Flag bearers of political parties are prior to elections mandated to elect their campaign managers before elections. In view of this, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) have named their campaign team poised for the 2016 elections.
