Telecommunication giants, MTN in collaboration with Rite FM have rewarded loyal subscribers and cherished listeners during the period of love as part of their social corporate responsibilities.
The special gesture dubbed ‘Valentine Promotion’ saw the radio station reward some loyal listeners of the station and MTN subscribers walk away with a brand Huawei Y5 4G mobile phone.
Speaking in an interview with Rite news, General Manager (GM) of Rite FM, Mr. Kenneth Oliver said that the month of February is the period of love for which reason MTN together with Rite have decided to reward their clients and cherished listeners through the sharing of mobile phones.
According to the GM, the basis of the network company’s collaboration with the station stemmed from the network’s survey conducted and which revealed Rite FM’s massive impact on the promotion of agricultural as well as the pursue of social development issues within its catchment area.
‘MTN therefore decided to partner with Rite FM by supplying of mobile phones to be rewarded to MTN users and cherished listeners of the station through calling into some programmes of the station.’ Mr. Oliver added.
‘All that mattered was for the listener or MTN user to call and answer few questions concerning MTN usage and services in order to win a phone as a reward because if there is no listener, there is no radio, he added.
The promotion which was ran in the lead up to the Valentine Day, 14th February saw listeners of the station calling into various shows and answering basic questions pertaining to the services of Ghana’s leading telecommunications network.
Most of the winners who spoke with Rite expressed their gratitude to Rite FM and MTN for the gesture.
