David Duncan blames tactically indiscipline players for Kotoko’s loss to Liberty

Asante Kotoko coach David Duncan has attributed the 3-1 defeat suffered at the hands of Liberty Professionals on Sunday to the tactical indiscipline of his players.

The champions threw away an early lead to lose yet another game in the second half of the First Capital League season.

The result heightens pressure on the club’s management with many of their fans demanding for the immediate exit of some officials, in particular General Manager Opoku Nti.

But coach David Duncan who has also had his fair share of blame says his players failed to keep up with basic principles of the game in the defeat to Liberty.

“We could have won this game if we had been a bit more disciplined and kept with the basic principles of the game,” he said.

“We look to bounce back strongly and win our subsequent games.”
