Rite FM Corporate Fun Games Draw Crowds

May Day 2016 was fun and different for hundreds of revelers from Somanya, Odumase-Krobo, Akuse and its environs as well as from Accra who thronged the Akuse Club House in the Eastern region to have fun at the ‘Rite FM Corporate Fun Games 2016.’

The event which was the fourth edition was aimed at bringing together Rite FM and its corporate partners as well as its listeners and the general public to release all the stress from work and just have fun on a day set aside to celebrate the contribution of workers to national development.

Also, it was an occasion for networking in a social setting where happy people interacted more freely. This way, they were able to exchange ideas freely, which was anticipated to bring profound mutual benefits.

In addition to good food and a wide range of drinks to choose from, patrons had a go at swimming in the pool of the Club House, dancing competitions, playing cards, board games, volley ball, tennis ball, ludo, football, sack racing among other mature competitions while soaking in the serene atmosphere.

Of course, Corporate Fun Games could not have ended without a jam. The event was crowned with a late night jam which was a blend of music and dance.

Mr. Nii Lantey of the Rite FM Events and Promotions desk said nine companies, organizations and institutions took part in the event. These included Rite FM, Movenpick Ambassador Hotel, Manya Krobo Rural Bank Ltd, Sked Auto Services, Labadi Beach Oil, Fiesta Royale Hotel, La Palm Beach Hotel, Mega Group and Yilo Star Micro-finance.

He noted that the though they were satisfied with the response of the companies to the event, it is their wish that future events would see more companies aligning themselves with the fun games while urging organizations to come on board in the future.

Some participants obviously content with the event commended the organizers, Rite FM for their efforts. Mr. Donald Kofi, Main Organizer of the Hospitality Industry of the Fiesta Royale Hotel said he was impressed with the event and looked forward to future events while urging more companies to join in the future.

Kofi Owusu Agyemang of Top Herbal whose outfit was also there to do health screening of participants said the idea behind the Rite FM fun games was a perfect idea and an ideal one. He took the opportunity to call on workers to not to only commit themselves to work and fun but be equally concerned about their health status.
