Mrs. Eunice Korboe, wife of Mr. Davies Korboe, board chairman of FMSL multimedia has on Wednesday made some timely donations of a total of twenty mattresses to two hospitals in the Lower Manya Krobo municipality in the eastern region. The two hospitals are the Atua government hospital and the St Martin’s Catholic hospital in Agomanya.
The modest looking Mrs. Korboe who declined to reveal the value of her philanthropy told Rite news that she was motivated to contribute her quota to the maternal wards of the various hospitals, adding that as a woman, she believes mothers must deliver their babies or give life in comfort. She said she was particularly touched with stories of hospitals and especially maternity wards in distress.
Eunice Korboe who said this was her second time of donating to the hospitals said she was also involved in other philanthropic works elsewhere. She said this wasn’t the end as she would do more in her personal capacity to help vulnerable sections of society.
