The Lower Manya Krobo Municipal Assembly on Friday confirmed Mr. Simon Kwaku Tetteh as the new Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for the area.
Forty out of the forty members of the assembly present, voted for Mr. Tettey, representing a hundred percent approval rating for the one time assembly member to confirm him as the new MCE.
The new MCE thanked the assembly members for the confident reposed in him and promised to work assiduously towards the development of the area, while continuing developmental projects begun by his predecessor, Mr. Jacob Acolatse.
In a related development, Mr. Felix Odjao Lartey has been confirmed the District Chief Executive of the Upper Manya Krobo district, reports Rite FM’s David Ayertey. Mr. Lartey polled 44 yes votes out of the 45 assembly members who voted with one absentee.
