Farmers in Ningo and Prampram under the umbrella body, Farmer Based Network Organization in the Shai Osudoku District of the greater Accra region have disclosed their intensions to fully participate in the upcoming Rite Agri-Forum and have thus welcomed the event slated for Wednesday the 10th of August 2016.
The Rite FM first organized agri-forum is bringing all the players and stake holders in the agric sector to address the challenges of the farmers in the country but particularly within the Krobo communities in the Eastern region.
Speaking with Rite news, Mr. Wisdom Amoyaw who is the president of the Ningo and Prampram Farmer Based Network Organization sent the strongest indication yet that he was excited with the Rite FM initiative and that he was in the process of organizing all farmers under his association to partake in the program.
According to him, he already foresees and very much convinced that the upcoming event will be beneficial to all stakeholders. This according to him is because farmers would have the rare opportunity of meeting the experts, processors, marketers, and many who find themselves in the value chain of the agricultural sector.
This he reiterated would offer them the opportunity to come together to address some of the challenges that farmers are confronted with.
