The Daily Star says Mkhitaryan will seek showdown talks with Mourinho regarding his united future.
The Armenia international has not started for United in the Premier League since the 1-0 defeat to Chelsea at the start of November.
He has slipped down the pecking order at Old Trafford and was recently linked with a move to Inter Milan.
And Mkhitaryan wants to sit down with Mourinho to discuss his role at the club.
