Food and agriculture show (FAGRO) is scheduled to hold it first National Agriculture summit to discuss Ageing Farming Population in the Agriculture sector tomorrow 8th July, 2015 at the La-Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra.
This year’s Agric Summit which is on the theme “Further unlocking the Ghanaian Agriculture Sector: the role of Youth and Women” is geared towards providing a launch pad that will seek to reverse the trend.
In an interview with Rite News, agriculture activist Alberta Nana Akosa said the summit is designed to know how best the opportunities in the Agriculture sector can be identified for the Ghanaian youth and is bringing on board expertsm in the Agriculture sector including the minister of food and agriculture lectures, students and other key players in the various agriculture department.
