Nana Ama Mcbrown has revealed that there have been attempts to end her life while working on set. “I’ve been poisoned on set twice. I’ve been admitted at the Komfo Anokye for two weeks without food. I went home with about forty drips or forty-five. Injections, I can’t count”.
She made those comments on the TV talk show, ‘Restorations With Stacy’, the same interview which went viral for McBrown’s revelations on how she feels about Praye Tiatia.
She added, “From day one that I started my work, acting, people think they see you on TV and it’s beautiful. No doubt, it is very beautiful. But the attacks that you get, you have no idea of”.
The actress also talked about how she came into acting after she answered an audition call by miracle films but though she did not make it for a role during the auditions she got hired to help do costuming instead. McBrown however got the chance to act a lead role by the same production in the movie ‘Nsem pi’ which got her career started.
After recounting the circumstances surrounding her 2014 motor accident to the hostess, McBrown said she has been through many other near-death experiences in the past. She said, “Akua, my soul ‘dieerrr’ not even my mother. It is for God”
