Domestic coaches should be allowed to handle the teams in the CHAN tournament than the foreign coach- Mr. Owusu Bempa

Mr. Owusu Bempa, has made the suggestion that, the Confederation of African football (CAF) should come out with the directives that every CHAN team that participate in the Continents flagship tournament designed for local based players should be handled by an African coaches rather than the expatriate coaches.

According to him, if we want to develop the local players and the standard of play then we should give our local coaches the chance to showcase their Caching prowess.

However, he made mention of former players who they are now coaches the likes of; C.K Akonnor, Maxwell Konadu, Yaw Preko and others should be giving the chance to coach our National teams and the same to other countries.

Mr. Bempa disclosed this in a telephone conversation with Mr. Kenneth Oliver on Rite Sports Show Sports World last Saturday.
