Odumase District Court in the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality yesterday fined Mr.kwadwo Eshon a metro mass transit driver GH¢ 1,400 for reckless driving or face a 14 months imprisonment.
Chief inspector Kwame Karim, the station officer for MotorTraffic and Transport Akosombo briefing the incident Rite FMs Owuraku Asamoah b at the court premises said, Kwadwo Eshon was driving the metro bus with registration number GS 6615Y was arrested by MTTD officials on the Asikuma, Perki road on 4th July this year after running over a Kia Rhino loaded with local rice parked at the road side.
He pleaded on two charges which included reckless driving.
