The member of parliament for the Yilo krobo Constituency,Hon. Lawyer Kofi Amoatey last Sataurday donated 10 pieces of lap top computers and printer to the yilo krobo senior high school.
Speaking on Rite Fm’s morning Ride today ,he noted the 50000 worth of donation was out the Mp’s common fund and it was a response to a request the Krobo Yilo school placed some time ago to refurbish their computer lab.
He mentioned the responded to the call of the school on the purpose that, ICT has become a priority in the running of the nation and the job market so he thought it as wise to refurbish the center.To help prepare our future leaders for the task ahead.
He promised to stretch out his kind courtecy to schools which will call on him because education is his major priority as a leader,especially the Somanya ICT Center which is still under construction.
In other development,the out going headmaster of the Yilo Krobo Senior High school Mr. Mathew L. Bawa who received the items on behalf of the school promised a good use of their purpose and proper maintainance.
