Ghana police receives three (3) kantanka vehicles

 

The Ghana police service has received three brand new kantanka vehicles worth ¢800,000 from the kantanka group of companies.

The Ghana police service is the first public institution in the country to use a locally made vehicle; kantanka Omana.

The three vehicles are to help the Ghana police service in combating crime according to the chief executive officer of the kantanka group of companies, Mr. Kwadwo Sarfo Jnr at the ceremony to hand over keys to the vehicle to the police service at Accra yesterday.

Rite FM in an exclusive interview with the P.R.O for Christo Asafo mission of Ghana, MR. Osei Bempah stated that the vehicles were given to the Ghana police service as part of their social cooperate responsibility to assist the police in their patrol work to bring crime under control.

Mr. Osei Bempa responding to public comments that the vehicles (Kantanka) are sub-standard refuted that claim  assurring the public that the vehicles are strong and of standard concluding that the Ghana police service would testify the quality of the vehicle when they use it.
