Ghanaian-South African singer and songwriter, Adina Thembi Ndamse, has cautioned fans who stir up misunderstandings between female celebrities in the country.
Adina’s advice was on the heels of a female fan asking her whether she has a problem with Wendy Shay after she posted a group photo with Nana Ama Mcbrown, Kuami Eugene, Eno Barony, Wendy Shay and others on her Instagram page.
“Hi Adina please do you have problem with Wendy Shay,” the Instagram user with the name janet.okyere.5220 queried.
In a quick response sighted by zionfelix.net , Adina replied: “@janet.okyere.5220 no I don’t and you guys need to stop with these questions! Stop instigating! Stop pitching females against each other! We all need to look out for each other not be against each other damn! Smh.”
Recently, many Ghanaian female musicians have admitted the lack of unity within the industry most especially among female musicians in the country.
Adina’s reply was timely and I hope others will know how strong they can become if they settle their differences and work together as a team in this male-dominated industry.
